Customer Reviews
Decent first order
I was looking for some Icelandic Sea Salt and Omnom Chocolate, and Grapevine had a good selection. I signed up for their newsletter and got a 10% discount on my first order, which was a nice bonus. The prices felt fair even before the discount, especially for imported goods. Shipping wasn't super fast, but it was free to the US, which definitely made it worth waiting for. Everything arrived well-packaged. I'd definitely consider buying from them again, good value for what I got.
Always reliable for gifts
I've ordered from Grapevine a few times now, mostly for gifts, and they're always consistent. This time I got an Icelandic Candy Box for my sister's birthday, and it was just as good as the one I got for my mom last year. Their selection of Icelandic goodies is hard to beat, and I know I can count on the quality. Shipping usually takes about 7-10 days, which is what I expect coming from Iceland, and their packaging is always sturdy. It's why I keep coming back.
Good stuff, came quick
I got one of those Grapevine Tote Bags and a couple of those Enamel Pins. Everything looked really nice when it got here. Took about a week to reach me in California. Pretty happy with it all.
Detailed thoughts on my Grapevine Box
I decided to try out the Grapevine Box after seeing some ads, and overall it was a positive experience. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, easy to navigate. I appreciated the clear product descriptions. Delivery took 8 days to reach my address in New York, which was within the expected timeframe for international shipping. The box itself was well-packed; nothing was damaged. Inside, I found a mix of items including a recent Reykjavík Grapevine Magazine, some Icelandic Licorice, and a small art print. The quality of the magazine and print was good. I did have a question about one of the items and used their support contact form; I received a helpful response within 24 hours. While the curation was interesting, I felt a couple of items were a bit smaller than I anticipated. Still, it was a good way to get a taste of Icelandic culture.

What's the return policy like for something like a t-shirt if it doesn't fit? Is it a hassle to send stuff back to Iceland?
Does the free shipping deal to the US apply to everything? Or just specific items?
Anyone compared their candy boxes to Nammi.is? Wondering which one is better for a good mix of Icelandic treats.
Does anyone know if they ship to like, Montana? And how long does that usually take? Need to get a gift to a friend there.
Is the Grapevine store legit? I see some pretty cool stuff but wanna make sure it's not a knock-off site.
